Audrey's
is A Bed & Breakfast Oasis located in the heart
of Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Just three blocks from the campus
of Ouachita Baptist University, and less than one-half mile
from Henderson State University, Audrey's is a private, quiet,
and comfortable place to stay while visiting Arkadelphia.
Audrey's
is a 950 square foot guest cottage built next to the historic
Cargile House, the 1898 Victorian home of Bill & Snookie
Dixon, your proprietors. The guest cottage was originally
designed for Bill's parents, Ellis & Audrey Dixon, with
all of the space and conveniences necessary to allow them
independent living.
In 2006, the guest cottage became Audrey's
Bed & Breakfast. Now you can enjoy a place to stay with
a den and fireplace, dining room, full kitchen, private
bath and large separate bedroom with two queen sized beds. With
9 foot ceilings throughout, and even an outdoor porch with
rocking chairs, you will enjoy your own feelings of peace
and independence.
While the accommodations at Audrey's are truly
"beyond expectation", it is the hospitality of
your hosts, Bill & Snookie Dixon, that makes your stay
"exceptional."
Fresh-baked scones or muffins, homemade granola,
and a refrigerator stocked with milk and juice gets your
day started the right way. Make a pot of Audrey's Blend
coffee, and head for the rocking chairs on the private porch
to listen to the birds, and enjoy some quiet time before
the day begins.
As you forget the nagging responsibilities
of home, enveloped within the luxury of space and hospitality,
you'll understand why Audrey's is called "A Bed &
Breakfast Oasis."
